The Good Food Month events are not all solely about great food but touch on the entire culinary industry. Step Up To The Plate on November 22 at Cinema Nova will offer a movie experience like no other, with Melbourne’s top chefs including Florent Gerardin (Pei Modern), Cory Campbell (ex-Vue De Monde), Peter Gunn (IDES, Attica) and Nic Poelaert paying homage to their mentors by turning their greatest works into movie snacks.

Chef David Moyle of Franklin Restaurant in Hobart and Florent Gerardin of Pei Modern will come together on November 15 to create a traditional French eclade de moules with mussels dramatically smoked under a stack of burning pine needles.
