As Melbourne gets excited for the final Designer Runway this evening, we look back to where this fantastic week of fashion began…Opening Night.
Melbourne Spring Fashion Week kicked off with the pop of a champagne bottle and a runway show that stopped traffic. Literally.
Little Bourke street was closed down, making way for the construction of a runway of arches, woven with pink roses that were as bold as they was beautiful, leaving us without doubt, that spring truly had arrived in the city.
The #MSFWSHOPHOP, hosted by Emporium Melbourne was an exciting night to remember! The whole of Melbourne came alive, inviting the curious and fashion elite alike to explore the streets, shops, arcades, laneways and centres to discover the best of what makes springtime in Melbourne a unique experience.
Beyond the fashion, we were treated to fine food, live music, entertainment, performances, workshops, exclusive shopping offers throughout the evening and styling tips for the season ahead.

Moet & Chandon Champagne and exquisite chocolates featuring flecks of gold were enjoyed while chatting about spring fashion styling tips from Winston & Willow’s Charlotte Bridgeman and designing your own fashion flat-lay with the phenomenal stylist & photographer Cindy Chen.
