Sydney based indie-pop 4 piece Nova And The Experience is one of those bands that never disappoints.

Only the 2nd stop on a tour of the east coast for the launch of their new EP, ‘WHERE WE GO’ N.A.T.E. is off to an incredible start, with sold out venues in Sydney, and wall to wall fans in Melbourne’s Penny Black on Friday night. It’s easy to hear why they are such an appealing band. They deliver an energetic indie-pop punch made up of infectious melodies, movable beats, clean guitar hooks and fantastic vocals from brother sister combo Anna and James. Nova and the Experience is one of those bands that, once you hear it, you are hooked. They are making honest music and adding versatility to, what is quickly becoming a standard genre. There is nothing standard about N.A.T.E.

After the release of THERE’S SOMETHING HERE EP, that received critical acclaim and made an ever-growing fan base both in Australia, the US and Canada, their new EP WHERE WE GO sees N.A.T.E. working again with ARIA nominated product Lachlan Mitchell (Jezebels, The Vines) and continues to deliver on everything that the band is known for, and then some.

The last 12 months have been huge for them, winning the First Break Development award from Commercial Radio Australia and the Mushroom Group and recently performed at Mountain Sounds Festival and the sold out Red Deer Music and Arts Festival featuring The Grates and Kingswood. They have been playing along bands such as Jinja Safari, British India, Stonefield and Glass Towers, and after an exclusive album released in Japan, N.A.T.E. are touring again starting off with a sold out show at Sydney’s Brighton Up Bar in Darlinghurst, heading through Melbourne, Newcastle, Brisbane and Canberra, before hitting the New York City later this year.
